Celebrating the essential dignity of all people by making a place in our hearts, our churches, and our societies for those who have been 'labelled disabled'. We evangelize the world and the church so that everyone may know that Jesus walks with us in 'the least of these my brethren'. (ask Mother Teresa/Read Luke 24:13-33&Matt.25:31-46/listen to the Spirit)...
The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them; that's the essence of inhumanity. George Bernard Shaw
The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved - loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves. -Victor Hugo

Len, Thanks again for directing me to the heart of things.
I'm drawn to the phraseology and tension in God or the Devil's owning disability.
There's something more than who's in control here.
Len, On a slightly different track but not entirely, I have a suggestion for your video list/links.
I watched Antony's version of Cohen's "If it be your will" again last night and it's still resonating with me.
But of course that's me. (It's linked in my "Let your mercy spill post." Jan. 30th I think.) Just a thought.
tension is a creative place
pain is the point where pearls are formed (pardon the cliche)
Thanks for remindng of the Antoony phenomenon.
He sings and lives things relating to pain and hope that make me think thoughts and feel emotions that no syrupy worship chorus seems to be able to do.
I get the strong impression that what he emotes is not contrived or unhealthily manipulative.
I like that.
